Adolf Hitler was not a dictator

Adolf Hitler Was Not a Dictator

I'm still reading the online book about WWII titled "Worldwide Defeat" [1].

One of the things that is underscored in the book is this: Hitler was not a dictator per se.

Normally, a dictator is a cruel thug (like Stalin or Mao) who forces the citizens to do things that they don't want to do.

But Adolf Hitler was a whole different breed of cat. When Hitler became leader of Germany in 1933, the country was in the toilet. Yes. But Hitler quickly set to work, and within 4 years Germany was a powerhouse and it had full employment. Much more than that, the German citizens loved (yes, loved) Hitler and would have followed him through Hell if he had simply asked them to. Hitler was no dictator. He said, "citizens, follow me" and they gladly did. Gladly! Hitler unified Germany as it had never been unified before. There were no "rich Germans/poor Germans/big Germans/small Germans" under Hitler. There were only Germans. Period.

That's why the media and the schools lie to you about Adolf Hitler. They must lie to you. If they didn't lie, Hitler would look good! Too good!

(...).
